About the company
Made in Sialkot, to the drawing
JOHNMED INDUSTRY is a Sialkot-based manufacturer and exporter of precision instruments for surgery, dentistry, orthodontics, nail care and professional beauty. Sialkot has supplied the world with hand-finished steel instruments for over a century, and we work in that same tradition: forged blanks, machined profiles, hand-set joints and a final inspection on every single piece before it is packed.
We work with importers, distributors, hospital suppliers and private-label brands. Whatever the order size, the same people who make the instruments check them, so what leaves Sialkot matches what was agreed.
Read more about usHow an instrument is made
From bar stock to packed carton
Raw material
Steel bar and strip is received against specification and set aside by grade before anything is cut.
Forging & forming
Blanks are drop-forged or formed so the grain follows the shape of the finished instrument.
Machining
Profiles, box joints, screw holes and serrations are machined to the drawing.
Grinding
Blades, jaws and working faces are ground to the pattern and checked against the master sample.
Heat treatment
Instruments are hardened and tempered so the working edge holds without becoming brittle.
